Ok so I know I left a review before, but I’m at the gym working out right now and I see my legs in the mirror, particularly the right leg, and all I can say is DAMN, MY LEG LOOKS SO GREAT! And all that vascular pain from standing and working behind a salon chair is GONE!!! Thank you again Dr. Raymond and everyone at Beach Cities Vein and Vascular Center! I’m so happy with everything you did and it was worth every penny. To me, you did the impossible, and I’m so not kidding. I had been to two other vein “specialists” over the last 15 years they didn’t even come close to what Dr. Raymond could do. So again thank you!

At age 29, I had a growing varicose vein on my ankle that made me feel so insecure and like everyone was looking at my “monster vein” (lol). I was about to turn 30 in a few months so I started looking up places to help me get rid of my unsightly vein. When I found this site online I immediately made an appointment. I was excited, but also very nervous as I have never had any sort of medical procedure before. However, once i got to the office everyone is SO kind and quick to answer any questions, I felt like I really made the right choice with Dr. Rayman. Marlene was with me through a lot of my appointments, doing my ultrasounds and pictures-she does a great job and is so sweet! Dr. Rayman is one of the nicest doctors I have met. He immediately made me feel comfortable not only due to his extensive knowledge but also due to the fact that he really cared about me, my issue and how to fix it. We went with the Endovenous Laser Treatment to treat the core problem of my “monster vein”. The procedure itself was relatively quick and definitely painless as my leg was completely numb! For me, as someone who gets grossed out easily, it was a mental game of not thinking too much about the procedure as it was happening lol! My mom was allowed to be in the room with me, I got to pick my favorite music, and honestly we all chatted the whole time. I went back for my second procedure, which was the injections into my soon-to-be-gone monster vein. This was also pretty painless for me besides some mild burning sensations initially after the injections. I wore the compression socks as directed and personally had no trouble with them. I had a little bit of a numb sensation where we did the EVLT, but that faded with time and I feel totally normal again. I just went back for 6 month check up appointment, and my monster vein is gone!!! I’m so incredibly happy with the results. Dr. Rayman and his team are so good at what they do, so kind, and SO WORTH IT. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! This review will be helpful to those who have delayed doing something about their varicose veins because of fear. If you are scared of needles, traumatized from past surgical procedures, and burdened by years of daily reminders of having painful, bothersome, and tired legs due to varicose veins, you do not need to worry anymore, nor do you need to suffer any longer from the physical and emotional pains that come with varicose veins thanks to Dr. Rayman and his exceptional medical practice. A bit of background: I had surgery 8 years ago by a surgeon to address varicose veins in my right leg -- a "real" surgery in a hospital operating room, with full general anesthesia. Not only were the surgery and its after effects painful and long lasting (including nerve damage), even more varicose veins started popping up about a couple years later. Due to that bad experience, I decided I would NEVER do anything about my varicose veins again, and that I was destined to live with the pain, discomfort, and ugliness. Fast forward 8 years, and the discomfort/pain, heaviness/throbbing, etc. were really getting to be a daily issue. Even people were coming up to me asking if my legs were hurting, because they looked like they felt! So I decided to do my due diligence and started to do a lot of research online (medical conditions, procedures, and various doctors). Thanks to Yelp, I found Dr. Rayman!! Being a bit gun shy, I called his office twice with tons of questions, and then proceeded to see him for TWO consultations (with my notepad full of questions). Each time, and with every interaction I had with him and his staff , I felt more and more at ease. Dr. Rayman showed me with the ultrasound exactly what my veins were doing and not doing. (And low and behold, the vein that was supposedly tied off 8 years ago was still there, bad as ever.) He and each one of his staff received me and my zillion questions with such respect, patience, compassion, and professionalism. Three weeks after my consultations, I had my radiofrequency ablation (RFA) done! Dr. Rayman and his staff are great, but I think they are able to show their personal best when actually performing the procedure -- during the procedure, there was wonderful bedside manner, nice music playing, excellent communication between doctor and patient and assistants, and obvious skill and confidence. Being embarrassingly afraid of needles, I must say it was really fine! I wanted to hug him when it was over, he was that great and showed that much care! I also appreciate his practical tips on how to distract myself when he was administering the numbing medication!! And considering it's just 3 days after my procedure and I've already made my appointment for Dr. Rayman to do my left leg (same condition), you've got to know that I'm completely satisfied, comfortable, and grateful. I told him, "Dr. Rayman, thank you for doing what you do!!!!"

Severe varicose veins are even more unsightly than they are uncomfortable. My varicose saphenous vein progressed over several years. As a retired Podiatrist I had seen the old way of solving this problem, where the vein was dissected out via a length of the leg incision that took weeks to heal, left a prominent scar, and had a much greater risk of infection. I had always thought there should be a better way. Eventually I retired without that new way coming forward. About ten years ago a new method was developed called (RFA) Radio Frequency Ablation, where heat is applied at the proximal (nearest the groin) end of the vein to close it down; this stops the reflux of blood back into the leg. The remainder of the vein is then removed in a separate procedure through several micro-incisions. I was curious about these procedures, but since the ablation is performed via a catheter directed through my vein, it was clear to me that someone with experience in the field of interventional radiology would have the best knowledge and experience to perform the procedure to the highest standard. I live in Orange County. I didn't find anyone with my preferred credentials locally, but I did come across Dr. Mark Rayman in El Segundo. Dr. Rayman spent fifteen years as an interventional radiologist, inserting catheters throughout patients' bodies. Realizing El Segundo was an hour drive each way away for me, I put off calling for a couple of weeks until I realized there was no one else I would consider for my procedures. When I called to book my appointment I was very impressed with the friendliness of the receptionist and time flexibility they offered me, since I would be coming from a distance. At my initial consultation I was warmly greeted in the office. Dr. Rayman was very gracious and friendly as he went through my history, and his examination and treatment recommendations. I knew immediately he was the one to do these procedures. The ablation was performed on a Monday; the micro-phlebectomy (removal of vein) performed three days later. I can honest say that I felt no pain whatsoever during either procedure and had no side effects. I took no pain medicine after either procedure except for the OTC oral anti-inflammatory to prevent inflammation around the remaining veins. I walked out of the office after each procedure. Two days later all dressings were removed. I wore a support stocking for almost two weeks. I would do it over without a thought; but fortunately I won't have to. I encourage anyone having severe varicose veins to consider a visit to Dr. Rayman's office. Even if you live far away, the professionalism and friendliness of his office staff combined with Dr. Rayman's knowledge, experience, and friendly bedside manner are worth the drive.

Every care was taken to ensure my comfort, and every single person there was kind, caring and wonderful to be around. Dr. Rayman is extremely thorough, honest and caring. I've been to many vein centers and Dr Rayman and staff are leagues above any other facility in terms of expertise, caring, and value. Add that to the fact that the treatment is the most complete I've ever gotten and you have a home run. I highly recommend Dr. Rayman and team!

My cardiologist recommended that I see Dr. Mark Rayman and I am thrilled to have him as a doctor. He and his beautiful wife have a real family like business in El Segundo but it is very high end from the fish tank to the coffee. Everyone working there makes you feel so comfortable. And Dr. Rayman loves what he does so much I think he'd bend over backward for any patient. Ya just feel like he's a friend (that's so knowledgeable). Awesome!!!

Dr. Rayman and his staff are the best! I took advantage of the free consultation and was greeted by an amazing staff and Dr. Rayman. This visit gave me the confidence that I came to the right place and to the right people. I scheduled my next visit and right away Dr. Rayman was able to quickly and accurately pin point the cause of my condition. I then scheduled an RFA ablation procedure on both of my legs on consecutive days. The whole process was quick and painless! Dr. Rayman walked me through the entire procedure, he was great! After a few weeks of recovery I was able to resume my regular activities of running and exercise. In fact, a day after the recovery period was over, I was able to run 3 miles. A week later I was able to run a 5K race without any pain or issues. Thanks to Dr. Rayman, my condition had improved so much that no further treatment was needed. This place is second to none, outstanding service, outstanding results thank you Dr. Rayman and your entire staff!

For 20 years I have been looking at my legs and thinking, "I have to fix these veins"! I finally found a place that I can trust. Dr. Rayman knows his stuff and he is the vein doctor you are looking for. The staff is wonderful from the moment you walk in the door. Starting with your ultrasound assessment, you will understand what your vein issues are and what it will take to fix them! The ugly green varicose veins are gone and after each treatment, my massive spider veins are leaving too! Dr. Rayman practices what he calls, "happy medicine". I can finally wear shorts again! I've been to so many doctors (5) with very little results. I was so unhappy.. i thought I'd never be able to wear shorts again until I met Dr. Rayman. He was honest and thorough and made those disgusting veins disappear!!! I had so many veins on the back of my knee and down my calf it looked like bruises. I'm so VERY happy with the results of the sclerotherapy!!!!! I've never recommended any doctor or have written a review until now. His office is clean, the staff is accommodating and organized. Wow!!!!! An amazing ,life changing, experience. I was looking on the "Maps" App for the closest place to do something about my unsightly varicose veins. I have had a wonderful experience with my procedures performed by Dr. Mark Rayman. The professional, warm and friendly staff eased my anxiety from the moment I made my first phone call to my consultation and following vein procedures. During the ultra sound he kept me informed of what he/I were seeing and how my vein was not working. I loved how the team worked to put me at ease during the procedures with music and conversation. I have had multiple procedures done at Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center and I have been blown away each time I have been there. I am sharing this review as I feel that many can benefit from the services that Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center offers. I was referred to Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center by my dermatologist's office (Dr. Nylund Inc.). I have been extremely pleased with Beach Cities approach, follow through, professionalism, and results. On top of all that the process involved zero pain. I visited their facilities for an enlarged varicose vein on my left leg. The vein snaked from my knee to my foot and was well over an inch in width. I first noticed the vein about two years ago. I had just finished a water ski run and as I stood up on the swim deck my son asked what was wrong with my leg. I have had several ACL knee surgeries throughout my life which had undoubtedly exasperated the vein. Additionally the vein had continued to grow in size from the time I first noticed it. Outlined below are both the process I went through prior to visiting Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center and my experience with them. Process prior to Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center - I visited a vein specialist in downtown LA shortly after noticing the vein (this was two years ago). The facilities resembled an old hospital, the service was sub-par and the doctor informed me that the only approach would be to rip out the vein. He described the process as effectively sliding a one-directional stint with barbs (like an arrow) up the vein (from my ankle to my groin) and then pulling it out via force. Needless to say I elected not to continue seeing that vein specialist. Two years passed and while the vein grew in size I simply ignored it and dealt with the discomfort. What prompted me to visit a new doctor was a friend, who happens to be an ultrasound technician, explained that the treatment procedures have advanced. I contacted my dermatologist and that is how I got to Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center. About my visit to Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center - The look and feel of Beach Cities Vein & Laser Center is much different from the previous vein specialists facilities that I visited. They are located in El Segundo and a fairly modern building. When you enter their facilities you feel like you are in a professional establishment (hard wood floors, fish tanks - typical nice doctors office setting). They have all the latest equipment for treatment and they are fully paperless. My initial visit involved Dr. Mark Rayman assessing the vein via an ultrasound and determining that the blood flow was the problem (it was not flowing as it should). They took before pictures and then began the healthcare process for coverage. The final step was to schedule the procedure. The procedure took about an hour and involved Radiofrequency ablation. I was wide awake writing emails on my phone during the process. While the process involved placing a stint up my vein (from my ankle to my groin) I felt no pain. The RF process ablated the vein as Dr. Rayman pulled the stint out. I walked out of the procedure and attended a client meeting two hours later. Additionally I went snowboarding at Mammoth the following weekend. It is worth noting that Dr. Rayman did not recommend this much activity immediately after the procedure however I felt no pain. All in all I would give them extremely high marks and I would absolutely use them again.

If I could give Dr. Rayman and his staff 10 stars if I could. i came here for my unsightly spider veins. I have received treatments from two doctors previously, which yielded zero results. I found Dr. Raman on Yelp and this is why I'm writing my review--my first review ever. First, his staff is absolutely lovely. They are attentive and accommodating. Dr. Rayman himself is wonderful. He listens attentively to your concerns, takes his time to answer question and set up realistic expectations, and then modifies the treatment to fit your needs. After two (!) treatments, my spider veins are gone and I can wear a skirt for the first time in 8 years. I can't recommend Dr. Rayman enough!

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Rayman and his marvelous staff...Alexandra and Stephanie! First of all, I have never had such a thorough one on one consultation with a doctor that actually took the time to answer all my questions and discuss all my concerns. He was professional, knowledgeable and I knew from that first visit that Beach Cities Vein and Laser Center was the place for me. He treated my spider veins today and I felt relaxed listening to his nice selection of jazz while he worked away on my legs. It did not hurt at all but he still asked me throughout the hour if I was ok!! I feel so happy that I finally did this for myself and I am confident that my next appointment will be just as wonderful. This practice is one of the MOST professionally run medical offices I have had the pleasure of visiting. The thoroughness of both Dr. Rayman and his staff is such a welcome and pleasant "deviation" from the standard "take a number" regimen at most practices. But it doesn't stop with thoroughness at Beach Cities. The practice embraces a perfect offering of professionalism AND friendly easygoing service. Dr. Rayman likes to attend to his treatments with his favorite tunes playing softly in the background (with patient permission of course!)...so bone up on your musical prowess...you will be challenged to "Can you name this artist?" by the doctor! This medical practitioner (and his staff) are incredibly attentive and caring. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rayman.

I completed my third session for treatment of spider veins on my legs and thighs today. I'm very pleased with the results. I noticed a big difference even after one session of treatment. Treatments were about two months apart. I'm a physician so I spent a lot of time researching and reading about treatment options. Also discussed with colleagues including a dermatologist who recommended Beach Cities v&l center. The initial consultation was very informative and Dr. Rayman and the staff provided very valuable information about treatment options and what to expect. Dr. Rayman was very professional and caring. He recommended at least 3 sessions of treatment for best results. The staff was also very professional and attentive. I'm very pleased with the results so far. Looking forward to wearing short shorts and skirts without using makeup to cover the visible veins. Worth the money no doubt.

I had a great experience at Beach Cities Vein and Laser Center. The office has a very welcoming feel and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like they really cared about me as a client. They are very professional. Dr. Rayman is very pleasant and will make you feel like a personal friend. I have been back for several different treatments. I have also had treatments done by Alexandra, their esthetician and have had great results with my acne prone skin. I looked for several months to find a doctor that was more than just proficient at this specialty....I always do...as I had this procedure done once before from a plastic surgeon just one year after a full hip replacement surgery. I was looking for someone new who is qualified in the latest medical techniques to handle my particular problem. Dr. Mark Rayman is as good as they get!! He loves what he does, which is a very important factor in choosing a doctor. I HATE needles but during the procedure I felt no pain at all, and that just made my day!! In the surgery area we had music, "name that tune", and a lively discussion with the doctor's assistant and ultrasound technician in the room all the while Dr. Rayman keeping his head down doing his job for some two hours straight. I cannot say enough about the staff. They treat you like family, both pre and post op, and their follow up is excellent. I was very reluctant to seek treatment for a vein that I knew wasn't functioning properly. But I finally pulled the trigger after finding Dr. Rayman. He is extremely knowledgable in his expertise and as someone who likes to research/know how things work, he took the time to explain various procedures down to their minutiae. That set the tone and I immediately felt comfortable scheduling my procedure. The front office staff he curated is the best. From scheduling to insurance approvals, everything was a breeze. Also, it's clear that everyone genuinely likes working there. They laugh. They smile. There's a general camaraderie amongst his staff. That says a lot. The day of my procedure everything went smoothly. I experienced absolutely no pain. Truth be told, it was so relaxing, I nearly took a nap while Dr. Rayman performed his magic. As a side note, the nurse asks you what kind of music you like before your procedure starts. She'll put whatever Pandora station on for you--so you really feel at ease. If you're as lucky as I am, you may even get serenaded by Dr. Rayman. Jokes aside, he really deserves 5 stars. Don't hesitate to visit his practice. He's worth all the great reviews!!!

I put this off for a long time as I did not realize how easy and relatively inexpensive the procedures would be. I am extremely satisfied with the results and with the professional and very caring manner every visit I had with Dr. Rayman and his staff. The ugly very visible veins are completely gone with very little inconvenience or pain. I had both Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and Sclerotherapy procedures done. From start to finish it took less than a month to complete everything. I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Rayman and his staff, if you are considering these procedures.

My wife saw Dr. Rayman for some small spider veins that had been bothering her. I really didn't see anything wrong with my wife's legs, I think she has beautiful legs and you can't even see any of the veins that she is complaining about, but my wife has microscopic eyes. First, the office is beautiful and the staff are super friendly. After consulting with Dr. Rayman, he informed my wife that she didn't need anything done on her legs and if he did it would not be morally correct. Then when I was going to pay for the office visit, Dr. Rayman refused to accept the consultation fee. He said I did not do anything so I can't take any money from you. It's really not about the money, it's about the principal of the matter. After my consultation with Dr. Rayman on how to treat my legs full of spider veins, I knew I would be in good hands. Dr.Rayman is very knowledgeable and makes you feel immediately comfortable. I had my first treatment of sclerotherapy and was expecting a lot of pain but that wasn't the case. Dr. Rayman was very gentle and informative when he was going to make the next poke. Most importantly, I felt completely relaxed during the procedure because I could trust Dr. Rayman's work. I can't wait to see the results! I had the worse varicose veins that bulged so badly they could be seen through my leggings. I saw an ad for a free consultation and decided to make an appointment. I arrived to a very lovely office with a pleasant young lady named Alex. Every aspect of my initial visit was professional and performed by a knowledgeable and caring staff. Then I met Dr. Rayman. What a wonderful doctor. He took the time to explain all of my options and made his recommendations. I decided to have him do my vein procedures. It took a while to complete all my procedures I had such horrible varicose veins. My insurance covered the main ones. What is left now is purely cosmetic. After the first procedure, the worst vein was no longer bulging through my leggings. It has been several months now and except for some bruising that is slowing going away, my legs look remarkably better. During the procedure, Dr. Rayman plays your favorite music so that you can relax. Then he had his team go to work. He explains what he is doing and the next thing you know you are done. I was so pleased with Dr. Rayman and his staff that I told another friend who is getting a lot or work done too. Dr. Rayman is a surgeon with years of experience dealing with veins. So he is a master and a teacher of these vein procedures. Truly a master and one that I will return to for my cosmetic vein work. Thank you to Dr. Rayman and his staff. Following a procedure at another doctor's office, I was in a great deal of pain. At this time, I was referred to the Vein & Laser Center. Even though this was a last minute call, Dr. Rayman made time to see me. He is an expert in the field of vein care, and he was able to determine that the pain was caused by a blood clot. He began treatment immediately. I was extremely apprehensive, but the doctor took time to answer all my questions, and keep me informed of each step of the treatment plan.The doctor and his staff are an incredible team of efficient, knowledgeable, and compassionate people. After my initial office visit, both Dr. Rayman and his clinical coordinator, Alex, called to check on me. This type of care and follow through is rarely found anywhere. I am deeply grateful to have Dr. Rayman treating me for this medical problem.

I've been suffering with varicose veins are going on 11 years now. At first they were just ugly little things on my leg. But then nearing the end of last year I started feeling pains and twitches in my leg. I just thought it was because I was getting older and I've been working on my feet the past 13 years. But then the pain got so bad I couldn't go to work I couldn't stand up I couldn't sit down. So I went online. And I found this what seem to be too good to be true doctors office. Then I'm call I sent next I sent an email. Asking for a consultation. Turns out the consultation was completely and utterly free. And that just sparked my interest. I went down there. And walked into this beautiful , Just overall beautiful office. The people you were had Dr. Rayman has working in his office are as beautiful and wonderful as the office makes them seem. As I walked in I was greeted with a beautiful good morning. I understand that doctors offices usually don't say good morning. Of all the offices I've been to. I was very delighted to see at Miss Alex there she offered my sister and I a beautiful cup of coffee and I was very very good coffee. I was a little bit nervous and hesitant to have somebody look at my legs barring my size. But they made me feel very comfortable and they understood that I was very concerned about the pain in my leg. Two weeks later I was scheduled for a procedure. Procedure went off without a hitch and now I can bend my leg I can sleep through the night without the numbing sensation through my whole entire left side. Dr. Rayman is just a miracle worker. If you have any issues with your legs spider veins varicose veins any of that jazz. You should go visit Dr. Rayman and his beautiful wonderful awesome amazing staff.

This was the best sclerotherapy treatment I ever had - and sadly for me, I've had lots of them. Ever since my 20s my legs have been prone to spider veins, and I have sclerotherapy every few years to keep them at bay. Dr. Rayman was great because he really took his time and seemed to care about doing a thorough job. And what really impressed me is how great my legs looked immediately afterwards. Usually they look bruised and kinda scary for several weeks afterwards, but honestly this time I could have worn shorts the next day and looked fine (except that the doc insists you wear compression stockings for a week, which supposedly helps with the results). Now my legs look better than they've looked since I was in college and I'm very happy!

I went in to meet Dr Rayman last December when his office had just opened. He spent so much time with me, explaining what led to the development varicose veins in my leg. He used incredible high-tech equipment and went over all of my treatment options. On the day of my procedure he helped me remain calm and he had just the greatest bedside manner. His office staff is so friendly and they spent time reviewing all of my post-treatment care. They also checked up on me later that day as well as the following day. My follow-up appointments have been terrific and I'm so pleased with my results, especially since the cause of the veins has been fixed.
